They also touch base on Pharrell’s personal life and the role his grandmother played in his career. Without a doubt, one of the most inspiring interviews this year.

The last show included a lot of Leno’s famous guests bidding their farewells through jokes and punch lines. To celebrate, Leno’s first guest Billy Crystal came on the final show, as one of its last. Robert Klein, Oprah, Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, Chris Paul, Sheryl Crow, Jim Parsons and Carol Burnett were also present, performing a parody of “So Long, Farewell,” a number from The Sound of Music. The epic last show was not without its tear jerking moments. Jay Leno gave an emotional speech to wrap up the show, followed by a final performance by Garth Brooks. Hit the jump to hear his speech, as well as to see what Jimmy Fallon (his successor, starting Feb. 17th), Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien and Arsenio Hall had to say regarding the final episode.
