Video: Ariana Grande Covers Whitney Houston at the White House

The youngest of all wow’d the audience during a special concert at the White House on Thursday. Patty LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, Ariana Grande, and more performed in front of the Obama‘s for Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House. The twenty-year-old pop star covered a Whitney Houston classic, “I Have Nothing” and received a standing ovation. She also performed “Tattooed Heart” and joined Jill Scott, Tessanne Chin, Melissa Etheridge, Patti LaBelle, and Janelle MonĂ¡e on “Proud Mary.” (more…)

Video: Kanye Speaks On Obama’s Comment About him

Kanye West is definitely a person that when he speaks, people listen! In a recent interview, Kanye speaks on his reaction to President Obama calling him a jacka** in regards to the 2009 Taylor Swift incident. Yeezy says, “But I don’t care if somebody the President or not. I care about thoughts, and how you helpin’ people, and what you bring to the world. My music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people, and I’m about people. Me, I’m not about me. I’m about, ‘I got an idea that people gonna like.” He continues with, “I’m not gonna mention him no more, I’m past that. That’s out my thoughts. That’s lower on my priority of thinking at this point.” Kanye makes some vaild points but what we’re wondering is if President Obama still has Yee in his iPod. What are your thoughts on this?
