We understand, some days are busier than others, so you may have not watched the Super Bowl and halftime show, or heard Rich Homie Quan and Problem‘s new song. However, we trust you don’t want to be the one person in a conversation that doesn’t know why people are talking about Jay Leno, or whatever else is a hot topic right now. Here are this week’s BIGGEST MF stories.

After 22 years on the Tonight Show (minus the first time he called it quits and Conan O’Brien took over briefly), Jay Leno said his final farewell on Thursday night. The last show included a lot of Leno’s famous guests bidding their farewells through jokes and punch lines. To celebrate, Leno’s first guest Billy Crystal came on the final show, as one of its last. Robert Klein, Oprah, Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, Chris Paul, Sheryl Crow, Jim Parsons and Carol Burnett were also present, performing a parody of “So Long, Farewell,” a number from The Sound of Music. The epic last show was not without its tear jerking moments. Jay Leno gave an emotional speech to wrap up the show, followed by a final performance by Garth Brooks. Hit the jump to hear his speech, as well as to see what Jimmy Fallon (his successor, starting Feb. 17th), Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien and Arsenio Hall had to say regarding the final episode.
Although for the most part, Kanye West has worked to keep baby North West out of the spotlight, Kim Kardashian stops by “Ellen” to show off pictures of the adorable baby. During her interview with Ellen Degeneres, they chatted about the likelihood of more babies by Kim and Ye. Kim talked about the troubles during her pregnancy, and how hard it was dealing with all the medical conditions, but how she would do it all over again because North was worth it. She also talks about Kanye being a terrific, hands-on dad. Parenthood suits them!
Better late than never? Saturday Night Live gives us their parody version of Kanye West‘s “Bound 2″ for this weekend’s Christmas special and it’s one for the books! Jay Pharaoh and Nasim Pedrad play Kim and ‘Ye and ride a reindeer on the clip – hilarious! Was this as funny as Seth Rogen‘s and James Franco‘s parody?
Kanye West stopped by Chicago’s WGCI 107.5 for another interview. This time, he provided plenty of perspective into his previous interviews and on-stage “rants.” For one, Kanye admits there are plenty of people more skilled than him, and that is who he likes to work with. When asked who he thinks is more skilled than he is, he said, “everybody I work with is more skilled than me.” Yeezy also addressed his now infamous interview with Sway. “What I don’t like about what he did is, you know there are a lot of people out here gunning for me, and you know the only reason why I talk about production and factories is because I wanna bring more ideas to the world. I wanna make a bigger contribution.”
‘Ye even took a comical stance in the interview, joking that if he had tried to make a baby without Kim Kardashian, she wouldn’t have come out as good as she did. Pretty dope interview. The interview host even took up for Kanye and made the very valid point that he can act the way he does now, compared to the way he used to be, “I remember the Kanye I knew back in the day, like 10 or 11 years ago that EVERYBODY kinda shot down. But he ended up proving himself, and then became a headliner for people. So where has the Kanye that was trying to go for his goals and now he’s made it? That person still exists there, I know he does. What’s changed?” Kanye responded, “It’s the same person. What’s changed is, nothing! [...] I have not changed. I am the same person that was in Chicago trying to rap talkin about this is what I’m trying to do. [...] I’m just bigger I guess, but I’ve been saying the same thing the whole time.”
We love that his hometown brings out the best in him!
Kanye West is known for being extremely protective about his art, and therefore sensitive to jokes and negative remarks about his craft. So when Seth Rogan and James Franco teamed up to film their “Bound 2″ parody titled “Bound 3,” it was hilarious, but the world was on edge about what his reaction would be. Kim Kardashian took to her twitter account to express their feeling, on the behalf of herself and ‘Ye. What was her response? They absolutely loved it! “You nailed it,” she tweeted at Seth. “[Kanye] laughed so hard at this.” We’re glad to see that the power couple enjoyed this hilarious parody. While on set for their new comedy, The Interview, Seth Rogen and James Franco decide to drop a hilarious parody for Kanye West‘s, “Bound 2.” The hilarious clip has James playing Kanye meanwhile, Seth play Kim Kardashian and reenact the entire skit – including the kiss! James Franco tweeted, “#bound3 #sethrogen #love – A LITTLE VIDEO SETH AND I MADE IN OUR DOWN TIME.” Maybe you guys should have more down time? Comedy!
Kanye West‘s “Bound 2″ video has been highly anticipated, and now it’s here! The song has been a fan favorite from jump. The visuals are seriously dope, and include a few raunchy scenes with fiancé Kim Kardashian. Mrs. West-to-be straddles Yeezy topless on a motorbike through mountains and other background displays we were too distracted to remember. Yes, the rumors were true. She’s topless in the video. Definitely a must watch. Of course though, it’s Kanye!
