Big Sean has teamed up with Adidas to release his first shoe release, “Detroit Player.” The limited edition adidas Original sneaker is red with a red snakeskin-like texture and gold highlights. A dope touch is the suede laces and the two gold pyramids. Inside the shoe, Big Sean has one of his signature quotes written, “I say I’m still dreaming bigger than I’m living.” His shoe will be available December 1, just in time for Christmas. Rihanna is back on SNL, wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, a camouflage
dress and some timbs, to perform her hit single “Diamonds.” This is the first televised performance of her track and she couldn’t have set the bar any higher. She also debuts a new track from her upcoming album Unapologetic, “Stay” and has everyone in the audience in tears. Watch both clips below.
If you don’t already own a 40oz cap you’ve probably seen it and plan on purchasing one. 40oz is back on his grind in the midst of dropping another cap, this time with Theophilus London. Fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana are being boycotted by none other than female rapper Azealia Banks. The company’s summer 2013 line features clothing with images of black women in plantation era getups carrying fruits and vegetables on their heads. The rapstress vented her anger at the brand saying, “Whoever designed that racist a$$ Dolce and Gabanna collection needs a swift kick in the mouth and a big d— up the a$$. I really hate when people do corny, racist things then try to justify it as ‘art.’ It’s all just really unnecessary. the clothes in the collection were fine without all the ‘black mammie’ imagery.” (more…)
Even though not everyone loved it, no one can deny the huge hype that surround the release of G.O.O.D Music‘s Cruel Summer. Well one designer decided to take his passion for the album one step further. Giuseppe Zanotti, an Italian shoe designer, crafted a women’s high heel in honor of Cruel Summer. Rapper Theophilus London tweeted a picture of the shoe with the caption “So apparently there is a women’s heel dedicated to good music Cruel Summer album.” Kanye West later retweeted the picture. The shoe is awesome looking. Right now the price is unknown, but the last time Kanye paired up with Zanotti the resulting heels were priced around $5,800. Better start saving up! Azealia Banks keeps it real sexy on her visuals for her track “1991.” Her wardrobe on the video is definitely trendsetting.
