The concert took place in Harlem’s Apollo Theater and it was definitely a concert to remember. Skateboard P performed classics like “Frontin’” and”She Wants to Move” to some of his newer music like “Happy.” If that wasn’t enough, he brought out T.I. and Busta Rhymes – the crowd went crazy after that.

It was only a matter of time. Busta Rhymes & Azealia Banks hop on the remix of Beyonce‘s “Partition.” The two come at the dope beat with some cool bars, while keeping Beyonce’s chorus line, “Driver roll up the partition please.” Busta teased the remix via Twitter a few days ago. Thanks Busta Bust! What do you think of the rappers’ freestyles?
Staying true to their word, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip drop a collaborative mixtape, The Abstract & The Dragon. Although the two don’t stray too far from their original roots, they spice it up with a few remixes and features. The new mixtape also provides a few originals, including “Thank You.” We love it. Features include Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and Kid Ink. The only bad thing about the mixtape is that it isn’t longer. Get the mixtape below!
Now that Busta Rhymes is back to murdering the music game, he had to take a hit at the biggest summer jam of 2013, Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines.” His voice flows perfectly over DJ Ted Smooth‘s mix to the track. We think it’s safe to say that this new remix gives the song a new life. Cross the blurred line below!
On the brink of the release of his new album Extinction Level Event 2 (or E.L.E.2 for short), Busta Rhymes releases single “Thank You” featuring Q-Tip, Kanye West and fellow Cash Money Records mate, Lil Wayne. The track samples Alicia Myers‘ “I Want to Thank You.” This single is definitely hot, and will certainly kill the airwaves. Busta Rhymes STILL has it. Q-Tip, too. We’re pretty happy about seeing all of these top rappers collab. E.L.E.2 is scheduled for release later this month and so far has confirmed features from Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams and Eminem.
