New week, new artist; this week’s #TELLAFRIEND Artist of the Week goes to Rockie Fresh. Signed to MMG, Rockie Fresh has put in work since his first mixtape back in 2009. The 22-year-old Chicago native has a very unique style to his flow, mixing both rock and hip-hop in his music.

Being the youngest member in the MMG label and the only one from the Chi, Rockie says he sees the world differently compared to his label-mates. Kanye West Throws Sway Under The Bus And Sway Talks Back!

#TELLAFRIEND Artist of the Week: KeY Wane – “Have Some Fun”

If you haven’t heard of KeY Wane yet, you will soon! KeY Wane is a young, 22 year-old producer/rapper, who just recently graduated from Tenn. State University. It was during his sophomore year of college, back in 2010, that he really had his big break with Big Sean’s, Finally Famous mixtape series. Known for his super production with artists’ like Meek Mill, Big Sean and Rockie Fresh just to name a few, KeY Wane is now transitioning into spitting his own verses over his beats. Now signed to Big Sean’s, Finally Famous label, he drops his latest offering, a compilation mixtape in which he collected all of his best work and put it all under one tape – So Many Keys.
