While partying in NYC at club Griffin, Drake took over the club and previewed two new songs for the crowd. One we have previously heard and the other a fresh new track we’ve never heard. The one previously heard would be the song featuring Aaliyah, Drake previewed for us while on his tour bus in December. The second song produced by Noah “40″ Shebib is titled “Talk Is Cheap.” With the Aaliyah album Drake and Noah “40″ Shebib were working on being dropped, it would be nice to at least hear one song make it. After announcing Drake would be working on releasing a new Aaliyah album, the world was in an uproar. Despite dropping tracks that received a generally positive response, those who knew Aaliyah were not please with Drake touching her legacy. Even her mother did not approve. While on his Would You Like A Tour? headed to his next stop in Portland, Oregon, Drake decides to tease us with some new music. “24 HOURS ON THIS BUS,” he stated with the video he posted of the unreleased track featuring Aaliyah. The video features different clips of his life on the tour bus but in the background a track with Aaliyah and Drake can be clearly heard with the lyrics “I’m so amazed.” Drake did say he would be dropping four new tracks before the end of this year. He hits Cedar Block in Los Angeles with his crew, and kicks it with kids in the neighborhood. Breezy is very hands-on in the clip, wearing his directors hat, calling out the shots. Not many can pull off a good cover to an Aaliyah track, but Sevyn Streeter nailed it. The singer-songwriter performed an acoustic cover to Aaliyah’s “Come Over” for the Warner Sound and left everyone at aw.
