With it being 2014, the former Dream Girl made sure to keep the beat classic funk adding a modern twist!
Pries continues giving his fans new music by releasing his slow jam titled “Shake.” The track was released on iTunes, and shortly thereafter it started to gain momentum online when a twerk video was made to the track. The song has an R&B flavor, complimenting its piano line with some booming bass, and snap drum-programming. Let’s hope the music keeps on coming from Pries!
Getting dropped from Def Jam hasn’t slowed Trinidad James’ hustle one bit. In fact, he seems more focused now than ever before! Independent and hungry for more music, Trinidad James has released a constant stream of music since his falling out with the label, proving that major label distribution isn’t the only means of releasing good quality music. The latest of which is titled “H.O.M.E (Hating On Me)” and it features iLoveMakonnen and the track is produced by Sonny Digital. Trinidad is dropping his album on September 23rd. When he initially announced that Def Jam had dropped him, he said he’d be dropping the album for free. Let’s hope it’s still true!

Originally recorded for Madonna’s Hard Candy album, “The Beat Is So Crazy,” produced by Pharrell, featured the Ruff Ryders rapstress Eve. Though usually enlisted for her bars, Eve instead sings along with Madonna about moving on after a lost love. When removed from Hard Candy, “The Beat Is So Crazy” was then decided to appear on Eve’s 2007 Here I Am album, but it was never released.
