Earlier this year when Mac Miller and Pharrell announced their Pink Slime EP we were excited! We knew it would be a hot collab, but the EP didn’t drop. They stopped working on their project together and put it on pause. We’re excited to announce that they’ve announced they’ll be continuing the EP and it will drop next year. This is definitely something to look forward to in the year 2014. It’s going to be a hot collab! Check out what Mac had to say about the EP in an interview with Rolling Stones below!
A few days after releasing her new mixtape, Seeds, Kat Dahlia releases a wavy, playful set of visuals, exclusively on MF.com. Directed by Marlon Santini, “Happy & I Know It” Kat takes it to Miami as she wakes up in a skate park, surrounded by skaters. In the end of the video, Kat mentions her friends and family being a part of the party scene on the clip – to be honest it doesn’t get more real than that! Kat’s known for her creativity and these visuals capture that, specially the scene in which she blows out green steam, waving money at her backyard boogie with a mermaid in a kiddie-pool!
She tops the visuals with a big, beautiful mural painted of her, by the talented Jona Cerwinske. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing the chorus after watching the clip, the track will do that to you!

If you were in Los Angeles this weekend, you knew the Hollywood streets were hotter than usual Saturday night. EDM producer, Avicii sold out the Hollywood Bowl (
if you’re not from L.A., that holds a capacity of close to 20,000 people)! There was so much that added to the show that made it what it was – from the impressive visual show to the crowd. Avicii played hits from Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Florence and the Machine and Rihanna to name a few and also some hits of his own like, “Silhouettes,” “Fade Into Darkness,” and “Le7els.”
We were very surprised when he sampled more soulful tracks like “Tracks of My Tears” and even hip-hop joints like Pharoahe Monch‘s, “Simon Says!” Our pictures will give you a taste of the night. Thank you, Island Def Jam Records for the extended invitation.
