Do you ever wonder which cardio machines or which workouts will help you lose weight the fastest? The bottom line is, no matter how much cardio you do, you still have to do your weight training. Burning fat, and burning calories are two different kinds of weight lose. You need to build muscle to help burn the fat. Take a look at marathon runners. Super lean, but not much muscle. If you compared body fat percentages with an Olympic sprinter and a marathon runner, you will find that the sprinter has way more muscle than fat. The marathon runner could actually have slightly more body fat then the sprinter.
