Mando Fresko Bio
DJ/Radio Personality/TV Host/LA Tastemaker — Mando Fresko is doing it all.

Born and raised in South Gate, CA, Mando grew up watching TRL and dreaming big. He started his career at 14, performing in high school talent shows and DJing his school dances. In college he launched a campus radio show, frequently crashing the station’s server because of all the traffic he generated. At age 20 he got his start at the nation’s biggest hip-hop station Power 106, quickly going from the promotions department to becoming the youngest on-air radio personality in station history. Now The Mando Show reaches 2 million listeners everyday.

In 2011, he joined the MTV family, first as a host for Tr3s then more recently as a featured personality on MTV2. He’s also developed a close relationship with Nike, not only hosting their events but also partnering with them to give back to the community. He’s done fundraisers in high schools throughout LA and OC and even helped bring dances back to his alma mater South Gate High.

Nowadays everybody wants a piece of the Mando Fresko action; his latest endorsement from Kia brought another brand into his family of affiliates that includes Nike as well as Pepsi, Sprint, and AQUAhydrate.
